Memories. Laughter.
Giggles.
Smiling.
Running, playing.
Foot loose and care free.
Brick wall, SMASH!
A jolting reminder of the present reality.
Questions.
Hurts, pain.
Change.
Will I ever remember the past without the jolting realization of the present?
Wow....I know that feeling! I just have to remind myself that I serve an awesome God who was with me then, is with me now, and will be with me forever. That is a comforting thought!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is soo true and immensely comforting!!!
DeleteVery beautifully put, Bethany.
ReplyDelete*hugs* I love you.
Thanks Ash :)
DeleteLove you too!!
It is not always true, but I have found that things always look a lot less like a brick wall when you are through them. I know that I run into a lot of brick walls and wish I was still little, but as I stop and think, didn't I just have little brick walls when I was little?
